8:15 - 8:30am: Surf Talk / Ocean Safety 8:30 - 9:30am: Surf Session #1
9:30 - 9:45am: Snack Break / Hydrate / Suncreen
9:45 - 10:45am: Surf Session #2
10:45 - 11:15am: Lunch In the Shade
11:15 - 11:45am: Final Surf Session
11:45am - 12pm: Pack Up
12pm: Done for the day!
Nags Head Surf Camp
We are heading into our 12th year of operation but our mission remains unchanged... we aim to ignite the fire of surfing in campers thru a week of serious FUN in the ocean! Our group of lead instructors combine with junior counselors to erase fear, create FUN and help campers progress each day. We continue to improve our large selection of soft boards suited for surfers of all levels.
Requirements
Minimum age 8 years
All campers must be able to swim proficiently (exp. if you've passed the swim test at the YMCA you are good to go!)
Bring packed lunch each day
Bring sunscreen & towel
Bring rashguard or T-shirt for sun protection
Bring change of dry clothes
*** No surfboard required. If you would like to bring your own surfboard please email us. Soft tops and flexible fins are the name of the game. ***

Somewhere in Nags Head, NC. We aim to find the perfect sandbar for our crew to BLOW IT UP.

Visuals
We drop a few albums in Dropbox or Google Drive for all campers to share at the end of each session. You can view photos from years past to get a picture of what to expect!
Inclement Weather We reserve a "Flex Day" during the week which we may use as a make-up day. In the case that we can't use our flex day and conditions do not allow us to surf we plan an alternative activity. We've spent bad weather days at Jockey’s Ridge where we've hiked, skimmed, & sand-boarded the dune.
Safety
We maintain a 4 to 1 or lower (camper to instructor) ratio in the water. Nags Head Surf Camp camp is licensed & insured and lead instructors are adult and child First Aid & CPR certified.
